DESCRIPTION:This auction is for a antique doll hat with applied flowers in need of "RESTORATION". My last two photos show it on a 27" tall bisque head French doll to give you an idea what it looks like on. Hat is old, worn, a purple velvet with applied lace and flowers. The ribbon tie has come off one end of the hat and needs attached. Hat shows overall wear throughout, flowers need replaced or freshened up. Measures about 17 or 18 inches around the inside band with tape measure,... the inside feels like a silk material, possibly this hat was hand made, should fit a larger size doll 27" to 35" or so. Doll shown is not included in this auction but being offered on a different auction, this auction is for the HAT ONLY. I also have this hat displayed with a blonde wig to five an idea what it looks like on blonde hair. I have taken plenty of photos, please look at my photos to serve as part of this description. This hat would be "great" with some restorations! If you would like further photos or have questions please email me prior to bidding.
