Wehave for your viewing and bidding pleasure a used enamel porcelainmetal round advertising sign. The background of the sign is white. Onthe face of the sign it has graphics of a prehistoric creature in redwith the name GARGOYLE above it. Below the gargoyle it advertisesMobiloil Arctic CERTIFIED SERVICE. Around the edge of the sign isan 1/8” wide red border highlighted with 1/16” wide black stripeall the way around on the outside and inside of the red border. Thefront has a few are...as of residue soiling and a chip just above thetop mounting hole and the extreme edging a couple inches to theright. There are some areas of light surface water rust film on theback. The sign has 4 mounting holes. These mounting holes have brassinserted grommets which have darkened over time. All 4 are flattenedfrom previous mounting. The grommet that is in the left mounting holeis split. On the back side of the mounting holes a couple of themhave some of the enamel porcelain chipped. Just below the bottommounting hole on the front side of the sign it has the numbers 11-39. We believe this stands for the date but are not knowledgeable enoughto know for sure. We have tried to describe the graphics on the signwith the wording and the condition as best we could. The signmeasures 8 7/8” across. We are listing the sign in its “as is, as found” described state and condition. Overall, it is in goodcondition and we are listing it at a no reserve selling price.
