Up for auction is a very large Vintage Rare Cordey Lady Figurine #5066. This beautiful lady stands approximately 14 inches tall and 6.5 inches wide. She was produced in the early 1940's by Cordey. She is so unususl and stunning!! She is wearing a coat style dress in mauve with ivory accents. She is wearing a tall mauve hat with delicate applied porcelain roses and leaves at one side. The hat also has a tea stained color applied porcelain lace shawl that st...arts at the hat and drapes over her shoulder to her back. She has outstretched arms and in one hand holds a delicate applied porcelain rose. She is standing on a cream colored base with gold scrolling accents and applied porcelain leaves in front. She has Cordey very lightly insised on the bottom with the number 5066 written on the bottom. This beautiful lady is from my mom's private collection and she is in great condition. The only flaw I see is a chip in the applied lace at the bottom of her coat on the left side...see pic 11. The handmade artsy nature of Cordey makes it difficult to see any imperfections.
