We have for your consideration this wonderful Vintage 1926 Royal Model 10 Typewriter.An Awesome Antique.A little History and Information: By the 1930s, Royal had long since grown to be one of the leading typewriter companies, firmly established along with Underwood and Remington as one of the Big Three. This Desk Model is an appealing version of the Royal No. 10, known as one of the best manual machines ever made.

Typewriter Restoration: Unless otherwise noted, all of our vintage typewriters have been restored to their “as designed mechanical condition”. Each machine is cleaned, oiled and mechanically adjusted and repaired if needed. All parts are original unless otherwise stated. Some damaged original parts may be replaced by parts from identical typewriters or new reproduction parts, if appropriate. Our machines are meticulously tested and fully functional when shipped.Mechanical and Cosmetic Disposition: Thank you for considering this used antique machine that has been around for "94 years". This is a great antique machine and we want you to know there are a few things about the machine that you should be aware of. Note: I will never say that this machine or any machine this old is completely original as it has most likely been worked on in the past, some parts may have been replaced in order for it to function as designed.There are some surface imperfections on the painted surfaces (normal wear, scuffs, scratches, chips, etc), as expected on a machine this old. "No touch ups on the paint". There is minor pitting on some of the non-painted metal surfaces. The shoes are lightly worn but still functions as designed. This machine is mechanically sound and works as designed. We also installed a new Black and Red ribbon on the machine. Overall, this machine, for being around for almost 100 years, is an awesome example of the Model 10.Please examine the photos for the disposition and grade quality.This beauty is ready for your desk top or put on display and or both.
This 1919 Royal Model 10 Typewriter was given the Serial Number X-1013785.
After 100 years the decals are mostly still present and very readable.
The mechanics have been meticulously tested and will be tested again before we package the machine for shipment.
The Glass capped keys displays a White background with Black characters.
The carriage return is nice and smooth
The machine carries a 10" Platen Roll and you will hear a "loud ding" at the end of each line.

This nice collectible has a keyboard classified as a "Pica", typing at 10 characters per inch.
