This is a beautiful Olivetti Ico (or "MP1") typewriter made in Italy in the 1934, serial number 10248. It has a cork platen that's simply gorgeous. JJ short replaced the rubber on the feed rollers. It has special math keys (greek symbols). The paint and finish are great for its age. I typed the "pack my box with ..." on it. It's finicky at times, and it's missing the "line-spacing lever, " so you have to roll it with the platen knob. It rolls smooth (no clicking). The carriage is smoot...h. It would be a nice project for someone who knows about typewriter mechanics, or a nice piece for display or collection. You couldn't type a novel on it, for sure. It's missing its case too so I glued some rubber stoppers on the areas where the feet went (the original feet were toast), because it's originally designed to work in its case. I will pack carefully with ample packing material. Sold as is with no returns and no guarantees.
