ALTHOUGH IT HAS "MADE IN ENGLAND" ON IT, THIS IS BASICALLY A "TIPPCO CAR"......AS IT RETAINS A UNIQUE, FAR SUPERIOR DETAILED DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION, IF COMPARED TO THE MID-30's METTOY BOAT TAIL RACING CARS.SLEEK DESIGN WITH INDIVIDUAL WHEEL FENDERS;KEY WINDER ON OPPOSITE SIDE; DETAILED DRIVER FIGURE AND TYPICAL "TIPPCO LOOKING" LITHO PRINTED HOOD STRAP, AND ACTUAL SIDE VENTED BONNET OPENINGS ETC...

INTERNAL CLOCKWORK / WIND UP MECHANISM.....FIXED KEY WINDER;the key is a little stiff, having not been used for decades....but with care, it will turn and wind up.....with car held aloft it will spin rear axle, with wheels spinning a bit loose

CAR DISPLAYS WITH NATURAL AGE/PLAY WEAR...WITH SURFACE OXIDE MARKING, SCUFFS, SCRATCH MARKS ETC...TARNISHING TO EXPOSED METAL.THE WHEELS DISPLAY TYPICAL PLAY AND AXLE HOLE WEAR/WOBBLEUNDERSIDE BASE PLATE IS FINE, ALL THERE....WITH ITS TABS ETC...OLD RACING CAR IS REALLY SOLID AND NOT ROTTENYOU MAY BE ABLE TO CLEAN IT SOMEWHAT ? ....
