This is a beautiful, vintage spoon by the Norwegian designer N. M. Thune. It is made of Sterling Silver and has a gorgeous guilloche pattern of lines in the enamel of both the handle and the bowl. The enamel is a deep maroon. This is a salt spoon and therefore is very small. It measures approx. 2 1/4 inches in length. The guilloche lines in the handle and the bowl are flowing lines with curls that is reminiscent of a Victorian filigree. The spoon was... gilded or washed in gold. The spoon has been used and the salt has worn some of the gilding off of the back of the bowl - please see pictures. The hallmark shows "the mark for Thune Sterling Norway". This is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks in the enamel. The only "issue" would be the erosion of the gilding noted above. Ship to US only by USPS. PayPal only please.
