Up for auction is this old Egyptian stone carving. It is made of a hard and heavy stone. It was likely carved out of the stone by hand. It has the remnants of some clay stuck in the cracks. It is very sturdy. It is intact and is a great piece!! This piece does still have some grinding marks that can be seen very lightly at the base. It has some other small discrepancies that would have likely been covered up with aging, and so I don’t believe that this is an ancient piece, but is lik...ely a piece made more recently for the tourist trade or to be used as a museum replica. It is a great collectible! I believe that this is a replica piece, and not an original!!! Beautiful piece though! Don’t pass it up!
