Dating From Circa 1905
Retaining Its Original Makers Mark
This Could Be Used By A Child, As A Display Piece (bathroom/bedroom chair), Added To A Collection Or Making For A Great Way To Display An Antique Doll Or Bear
Strong Solid And Ready For Use. Still Retains Its Original Rattan Seat Which Is Generally In Good Condition, With Just Two Minot Wear Areas Pointed Out In The Images. General Finish Wear Commensurate To Age And Use.
Dimensions: height 65cm x width 34cm x depth 39cm x height to seat 32cm
Jacob Kohn together with his son Josef Kohn founded the enterprise in 1849. Kohn would later rise to become one of the leading furniture makers in Austria-Hungary, becoming one of the leading competitors of Gebrüder Thonet. Kohn worked together with artists of the Wiener Werkstätte and Josef Hoffmann in the design of many pieces.
