RARE ANTIQUE FRENCH ENAMELWARE BLUE COBALT CAFE CANISTER PINK ROSES and RIBBON
This canister, probably dating from the end of the 19th century, presents a rich and very rare decoration of thick enamel: a garland of pink roses on a rare cobalt blue color. On the ribbon inlaid in the decoration (it surrounds the pot and the lid) is marked the word CAFE.The cover is rare! also carries the decoration of the pot.
Signs of wear of the enamel on the edges and a large chip at the bas...e. (see close up)
