Original Description:
This timeless vintage cookie jar is incised around the rim of the bottom with "Design by Horvath for Brayton Laguna, California. The number 40-50 is incised on the bottom as well. Horvath designed some items for Brayton Laguna. Earlier in his career he was an artist for Disney (1930's) and he later designed for "Krazy Kat" and other cartoon shorts for the cinema. The cookie jar measures approximately 10" tall and has no cracks. There is a couple very small and very unnoticeable chips a...s shown in pictures. The realistic animal crackers are raised so that it appears as if they are real cookies! This figural cookie jar is beautifully made and a fine example of vintage American art pottery!*INV=2*
