Very nice early Goldscheider figurine that is artist signed by Hantschel. On the back of the back, the artist signature is to the left and to the right are the numbers 4377, 37, 8 The interior of the base is marked XXVII - for the number 27 along with the Goldscheider trademark. Statue depicts young Chinese girl standing on a plinth holding floral decorated fan. In back of her is a garden seat for support. Displays wonderful detailing and is in very good c...ondition for it's age. There is a glaze chip on the center front edge of the plinth, small flake on the lower part of the garden set on the back and there is a stress crack we believe was done in the making on the underside of her coat. Please see photos for details. I could not find any other chips, cracks or crazing. The statue stands approximately 13 7/8" tall x 4 1/8" square at the base.
