Waltham Watch Co. 18 size 17 jewel open face pendant-set Appleton Tracy & Co. pocket watch movement/dial/hands. Very nicely finished Model 1892 movement with gold jewel settings, gold balance screws, fancy nickel damaskeen plates, and with the very attractive earlier style winding wheels having mirrored and damaskeened steel finish. Watch is fronted by a double-sunk enamel Roman numeral dial. Serial number is 7957668.Started&n...bsp;running when wound but balance motion is quite sluggish with low amplitude, and I think likely this movement hasn’t seen any type of servicing in a long time. Beautiful movement overall with excellent color and luster. Dial faces up well with some scattered faint hairlines.
