Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Sherman, Vintage, Late 1950's - Hot Pink AB Color - Round and Marquise Shaped Crystals - Floral Capped Figural Triple Daisy Rigid Cluster Motif Pendant Style Necklace and Pendant Earring Set. EXTREMELY RARE DESIGN & COLOR! - MINT CONDITION! - NO RESERVE! This handsome and very impressive set dates from the late 1950's, made by the well known Canadian firm of "Sherman" designed as a row of alternating medium and sma...ll size round shaped crystals featuring a centered section of of three rigid floral capped figural daisy clusters layered and stacked for a 3-D effect. The set is done in a series of dazzling and intense hot pink AB color round and marquise shaped crystals set in a rhodium plated setting. The necklace measures 14" in length with a 2.5" extension chain for a total length of 16.5". The necklace comes with a pair of 1" leaf cluster motif pendant style earrings that match the central details in the necklace.
The set is in mint condition showing very little wear, all the original stones, none missing or replaced with no loss to the finish or plating on the back of the necklace or earrings. The necklace is marked on the back of the extension chain, Sherman in script letters on a small silver square, The earrings are not marked but are an exact match to the central details in the necklace. SHERMAN Sherman was a Canadian costume jewelry company that produced very high-quality pieces. Colorful or clear prong-set rhinestones or cut crystal beads (sometimes with an aurora borealis finish) adorn most Sherman pieces; the metal is rhodium-plated or gold-plated.
