Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Sherman, Vintage, Late 1950's - Hot Pink AB Color - Round and Marquise Shaped Crystals - Triple Flower Pot Cluster Motif Brooch and Earring Set. VERY RARE DESIGN & COLOR! - MINT CONDITION! - NO RESERVE! This handsome and impressive set dates from the late 1950's, made by the well known Canadian firm of "Sherman" designed as an medium size 1.75" by 1.75" triple flower pot motif cluster layered and stacked for a 3-D effect.... The set is done in a series of dazzling and intense hot pink AB color round and marquise shaped crystals set in a rhodium plated setting. The brooch comes with a pair of 1" leaf cluster earrings that match the central details in the brooch.The brooch, in a color variation, can be seen on page 131 and throughout the new Yallen and Caldwell Sherman book - "Sherman Jewellery - The Masterpiece Collection". The set is in mint condition showing only very little use, all the original stones, none missing or replaced with no loss to the finish or plating on the back of the brooch. The brooch is marked on the back, Sherman in script letters in a small silver square and Sherman on the bak of the ear clips. SHERMAN Sherman was a Canadian costume jewelry company that produced very high-quality pieces. Colorful or clear prong-set rhinestones or cut crystal beads (sometimes with an aurora borealis finish) adorn most Sherman pieces; the metal is rhodium-plated or gold-plated. "Jewels of Elegance" by Sherman was written on some carded Sherman jewelry. Sherman produced jewelry from 1947-1981. As I usually do I'm offering this item at a LOW opening with NO RESERVE.
