A bracelet by Lauritz Jensen, who was active in Copenhagen from 1918-1937. This dates c1930. Jensen used some Viking symbols and motifs in his work and this bracelet, like some of his other pieces, has wire swirls and coils. There are six silver panels, each housing a large oval mound of silver which is decorated with silver rope work and coils. Chunky links hold the panels to each other and there is a typical Jensen fold over clasp. This is stamped with the two marks indication it was... a Swedish import.I have not seen this design by Jensen before and his work is becoming more and more collectable. Totally wearable, this bracelet has been fitted with a safety chain fastener too, just to give extra security when wearing the piece.The bracelet measures approx 20cm in length (8 inches) and approx 1.5cm wide. In lovely condition, some patina on the reverse. As mentioned, additional safety chain.I will post by International signed for from here in Italy.
