Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Sherman, Vintage, Late 1950's - Montana Blue, Emerald Green and Emerald AB Color - Round and Marquise Shaped Crystals - Japanned Plated - Triple Flower and Leaf Pinwheel Cluster Motif Brooch. VERY RARE DESIGN & COLOR COMBINATION! - MINT CONDITION! - NO RESERVE! This handsome and impressive brooch dates from the late 1950's, made by the well known Canadian firm of "Sherman" designed as an large size 2" by 2" triple flower... and leaf pinwheel motif cluster layered and stacked for a 3-D effect. The brooch is done in a series of dazzling and intense Montana blue, emerald green and emerald AB color round and marquise shaped crystals set in a black japanned plated setting.
The brooch is in mint condition showing only very little use, all the original stones, none missing or replaced with no loss to the finish or plating on the back of the brooch. The brooch is marked on the back, Sherman in script letters in a small black square. SHERMAN Sherman was a Canadian costume jewelry company that produced very high-quality pieces. Colorful or clear prong-set rhinestones or cut crystal beads (sometimes with an aurora borealis finish) adorn most Sherman pieces; the metal is rhodium-plated or gold-plated. "Jewels of Elegance" by Sherman was written on some carded Sherman jewelry. Sherman produced jewelry from 1947-1981. As I usually do I'm offering this item at a LOW opening with NO RESERVE.
