This is a fabulous Vintage Side Part Long Hair American Girl Barbie from 1966. She is the “American” version with tan skin, not the Japanese pink skin doll. She has all original face makeup and super long hair in a deep ash blonde color. Her blush is deep rose and fabulous. Everything about her face and hair is factory original.Her bangs sweep across her forehead to her right and she has a wonderful large curl on the left side of her hair; the right side is likewise thick and has a... distinct swirl towards her cheek.Her bangs look a bit uneven which is not unusual for a SPAG but I was assured by the expert Barbie dealer from whom I bought the doll in a recent auction that the doll was virtually unplayed with and so her bangs were also likely untouched. Her hair string is missing and her hair ribbon has been replaced. There are no pinpricks in her ears. She does have one tiny pinhole at each temple where the hair string had been attached. Her knees click solidly and she has an excellent bend leg body. She even has some original red toe nail paint.This is a spectacular side part — so gorgeous — so don’t miss your chance to add her to your collection.
