PAIR VINTAGE ACOUSTIC RESEARCH AR-3 SPEAKERS
These speakers are being sold as-is because they do not work right, they look pretty nice, so it would be a good investment to refurbish and repair them.
SPEAKER #1midrange cone was removed, magnet is still there but tape is in place where the dome-cone was
woofer workstweeter works (tested directly, not through the crossover)cannot get any signal through the crossover to the driversprevious owner bypassed crossover so they... could use the woofer directly. see back panel where there are two extra screws: these go to the woofer onlycabinet looks good front front, there is a noticeable ding on top back left corner, a very small ding on top right corner, some discoloration on one side, bottom panel has some marks, but no major flawsgrill cover has a hole in the material, and the plastic frame is slightly crackedemblems look greatSPEAKER TWOtweeter and midrange are both blown...no sound at allwoofer workscrossover workscabinet looks very nice, only has a small ding on back bottom corner, bottom panel has some mild marksgrill cover has small hole, and frame is slightly crackedemblems look great
