McIntosh MA 230 Solid State Preamplifier with Tube Amplifier
This is a hybrid unit combining a solid state preamplifier section with a tube amplifier
As you can see from the photos, this is in rough condition. Issues noted in the condition section and in the photos. There may be other issues I didn't notice during my time with this.
I didn't expect this to power up but I put it on a variac and slowly brought it up. It powered on and passed sound when I tested it but due to the... overall condition, this is being sold as a parts/repair unit only.
