RARE ANTIQUE / VINTAGE TIN TOY FIRE TRUCK
MADE BY GUNTHERMANN ...... IN GERMANY
c. LATE 1920's / EARLY 1930's
NICE BIG SIZE AT AROUND ....... 41 cm or just over 16 inches, with extension ladder closed

delux water pump version.....with double ladders and electric lighting
FOUR MAN CREW IN PERIOD UNIFORMS
ROTATING LADDE...R PLATFORM
NICE LITHO PRINTED DASH PANEL DETAILING
now around 90 years old, so showing signs of natual age and play wear.....including scuffs, scratches, dinks, creasing, colour fade, oxide spotting etc...windscreen frame bends/wear....cabin bell missingrare early piece is clearly missing the some parts, including the front metal grill ( shouldn't be too hard to recreate something, if concerned); ladder string needs renewing etc...the extension ladder has a tiny split on the end rung, but overall the ladders are very nice for one of these old trucks.has some wheel play/wobble/looseness....rear axle has a little bendclockwork spring is a bit stiff, but will carefully wind up and spin rear axle ( it would benefit with a good oiling)....no bell sound.
undeside is clean....with battery holder (no wires on electrics so not tested)
