This vintage hood ornament measures approximately 13" long by 16 1/3 " wide. The overall condition is excellent for its age with very, very little pitting on top, the chrome is in excellent condition and has a beautiful shine. The bottom of the ornament has some pitting but nothing that takes away from the integrity of the item. The lucite shows the crackle/crazing very well. There is one crack in the lucite and can be seen in several of the pictures and is located on what would be the... passenger side of the hood. The ornament is clearly marked BLC Made in the USA and also marked 522077. Ornament appears to have all original hood posts. From what I've been able to find I believe the hood ornament is from a mid 1950's Pontiac.Overall a great collectible, feel free to email any questions you may have.Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
