This is a cast iron swing-out stool from a mid 20th century factory lunchroom. The wooden seat has been removed. You will need to select and attach your own seat. There are three parts - the wall anchor plate, which attached to a wall or some vertical surface with 6 screws or bolts. This part ia 12" long and extends out from the wall 4 1/4". The second is the swing arm. It sets down over two pins in the anchor. It will pivot from the wall to extend o...ut to about 24" depending of the size of the seat. The third part is the seat support- it attaches to the swing arm with a bolt. The support has two arms that extend out about 6" and would support a seat with as much as 20" in diameter. All three cast iron parts are in excellent condition - no cracks - nothing lost or broken off. The entire group weighs over 11 pounds
