Offering a vintage 1950's RCA MI-12045 Dynamic Pressure (SK-45) "Announce" Microphone. This mic is in exceptional all-original physical and working condition, voice tested providing full fidelity and hot output like the day it came out of the box. Comes with the adjustable height metal mic stand shown and original 6' shielded cable with male XLR plug. These were popular television desk mics in the day, also used for public address and paging...very voice-friendly. The or...iginal pickup element is very unique to RCA...actually a thin molded diaphragm with a single straight wire embedded in a filament material, with transformer to boost the signal...similar to a ribbon element. (see last photo.) The shielded cable is connected permanently to the microphone, and a swivel arrangement allows tilting of the mic head forward or backward. Streamlined design, rugged construction and attractive baked TV Umber Gray enamel finish and RCA logo on each side makes this microphone a welcome addition to any vintage microphone collection.
