GARRARD ZERO 100C Quality Vintage Turntable with Zero Tracking Error Has Stacking Multi Record Play or Single Play was Serviced in Excellent Condition. The Garrard Zero 100C was one of the best turntables from the 1970's and still plays well with excellent sound. The Zero 100C was a then high tech turntable with a unique tonearm that had virtually zero tracking error and thus very low distortion. The tonearm has a magnetic anti-skating system and damped cueing action. The 4-pole motor ...has the advantages of both an induction motor for starting torque and a synchronous motor for constant running speed. This turntable has the ability to stack up to 6 records and automatically play all 6 or can be used as a single play turntable. It should be noted that a few records have center holes that do not work well on a stack spindle. Spindles are included for both. This turntable can be used in fully automatic mode with auto return and shut off or as a manual turntable. It can play 33 & 45 RPM records. The turntable has a platter strobe with pitch control for setting accurate platter speed. The turntable was serviced and the moving parts have been regreased. The motor was removed and lubricated. New quality RCA patch cords have been installed. The turntable is in excellent working condition and all functions work well. This is a great looking turntable with a white chassis, with some gold parts, and a wood look base with side compartment with lid that holds accessories. There is a slide back dust cover. The turntable was cleaned and the chassis and base are in nice Near Mint condition with light wear. The gold parts are in very nice condition. The gold tonearm weight has some moderate wear. The dust cover is in very good condition with some wear including a few scratches on the top but has no cracks. The plastic rear piece is missing one slot connector and one has been reglued but is stable. An Empire OP4 quality cartridge is included in good condition that tracks well with quality sound. This is a very nice collectable turntable that works well. Dimensions: 14 3/4"W x 13 3/4"D x 8"H with cover. Weight: 12 Lbs.. Included is a copy of the original Owner's Manual.
