Very good condition French Mle 1874Gras bayonet that has St. Etienne Arsenal markings on the blade spine and dated1877. Blade has nice original bright finish and was never sharpened. Guard isbright-gray with a little brown. Brass pommel has nice looking patina. Woodgrips have original finish and a good tight fit with some normal handlingmarks. Lock button and leaf spring function fine. Fitted in correct originalnonmatching numbered steel scabbard that has nice original blue met...al finishwith a little scattered brown, no dents. A nice classic French Gras bayonet foryour collection.
