2 Rare 18/19th Century French Wrought Iron Keys With Decorative Lead Bows

2 extremely unusual, large 17.5cm and 6.5inch/16.5cm long French keys.  The stem and bit on the longer key is typical of 19th century door lock keys and the lower part of the stem and bit on the other key is likely for an older lock, perhaps 17th or 18th century.   What are remarkable about these keys are their elaborate bows.  I think they are made of lead or a lead alloy and their form is in the style of the bows of 17th century ...iron/steel masterpiece keys.   I have never come across keys like this before so very likely made by the same person – perhaps a specific commission to make similarly styled fit different locks on the same estate.   Rare and collectable.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.  Buyer pays shipping, £5.00 UK, £12.00 to continental Europe and £16.00 to the rest of the world.
