Herewe have a clean Vintage Stanley Bailey No. 7C Corrugated Jointer Smooth Plane,  Type 17 (1942-1945) 'War Production.'  All moving parts operate smoothly.  Japanning is Excellent at 99% (most of the loss is off the heal edge - see pics). The Rosewood Tote and High Knob are in very, very good condition with no cracks or breaks.  Just a tiny dent in the top of the tote from the lateral lever and minor nicks and scrapes of the original thick varnish coating.&nb...sp;The cutter adjusting knob is the large brass version.  The ''Thick Walled' body (attribute of the War Prod. years), sole and mouth are in EXCELLENT clean condition !!  The body is marked 'BAILEY  MADE IN U.S.A.' at the toe, and 'No. 7' behind the tote. The lever cap is the 'kidney-shaped' slot type with embossed & orange paint Stanley logo.  The nickel plating is Excellent.  The full length cutting iron is stamped with the notched Stanley logo  The blade is sharp but should be touched up before use. There no owners marks. No cracks, breaks or repairs to this plane.
