Antique Stanley Bailey No. 7C Corrugated Jointer Plane. Type 11. 3 Pat Dates. 1910-1918.Deciding to thin out my collection of tools so this plane is up for auction. This was my primary jointer plane for many years. I used it for many things including flattening my workbench, etc. I find myself working on smaller and smaller projects over the years, thus it is time to pass it along for others to enjoy.I am a hobbiest woodworker and this plane is an excellent user and/or addition to your... collection. I am not a collector nor an expert regarding all of the nuances with Stanley planes and their history. Plane dating is per one of several flowcharts found on line that I have consulted over the past 10-20years. I believe the plane is complete with Type 11 parts, however, I cannot guarantee that. If you need any photos of bits and parts, please ask.Japanning is likely better than 90%. Blade is freshly sharpened at 25* with a microbevel at 30*. Beavertail on the tote has a very small chip on the edge. Knob has some dents as shown. Plane blade and chipbreaker mate tightly at the cutting edge. Mouth has a very small chip behind the blade that doesn’t affect function or performance. Lever cap is free of any chips. There is a very small amount of pitting on the back of the blade, nothing that won’t lap out over time with sharpening or affect the performance. Sides and bottom could easily be brought to a shine, if desired. To my eye I prefer the duller grey of a vintage plane. Please look carefully at the pictures and ask any questions before bidding. Please see my other items up for auction. If you win multiple items, I'd be happy to combine shipping.Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Shipping is based upon a large flat rate box. If I can fit this item safely into a smaller flat rate box or utilize another cheaper option I will do so and return the difference.
