Up for auction is a custom bushcraft carving hatchet made from a US made vintage Plumb brand carpenters hatchet. The head is just about a pound, very light and perfect for backpacking. The added hand clearance behind the cutting edge makes a nice handle area to hold onto while carving or making feather sticks and adds alot of versatility to this little hatchet and the 18 inch long dark toasted oak handle provides impressive cutting power for such a light weight hatchet.
