I have for 5 vintage Hilger & Sohne split nut/ split tip auger brace screw driver tips.  They are all marked Hilger & Sohne  12 and also marked Germany. I believe these ae for early split nut screws. There is a 6th Hilger & Sohne tip that is marked 1 over 3/8 . I have no idea the use or function of this bit. It has a twisted neck, but appear to have been made this way.  All the bits are a recent find. They appear to has seen little to no use, but they have be...en poorly stored for many years. They all have been partially cleaned. There is no signs of user wear, but they do have a bunch of shallow pitting and some corrosion. They could use some additional cleaning.   Please see pictures for condition. Ask questions before you bid. Any information will be appreciated.
