A near-mint condition and fully functioning "math grenade" (used only on Sundays by a little old lady in Pasadena). Runs like a Swiss watch. (Okay, a Lichtensteinian watch.) A couple of the booklet's pages are a little dog-eared, but otherwise it's intact and in decent condition (and written in a delightfully stilted yet precise style). This "pepper mill" was gifted to my mathematics teacher father sometime in the early-to-mid 1960s (well before Texas Inst...ruments' electronic calculators), but he rarely used it and then mostly as a conversation piece. (We kids weren't allowed near it.) The only (very slight) flaw is that the pad at the inside top of the canister lid, there to keep the contents from rattling up and down, has shrunk with age. I'll put a removable pad in the canister to keep the "pepper grinder" snug during shipping.) Serial number 34994. Shipped via USPS Priority Mail. (Rate calculated with this device.)
