Barograph / Recording Instrument Pen. I make pens that copy the style that was used by the United Kingdom Meteorological Office. This is a traditional “wet ink” pen and requires using the special slow drying ink;. (I can supply this ink) do not use fountain pen ink My pen comes with two fixing lugs that should enable it to be fitted to most Barograph and other recording instrument pen arms. Every pen that I supply is tested and a sample trace is supp...lied. Also a instruction leaflet describing how to adjust the pen is supplied. Many instruments today use the modern “Felt tip” pens, these are useful but do tend to dampen the instruments response to changes in recording. My traditional pen is small and light therefore does not hinder the interments reaction.(I can also supply these “Felt tip” pens) These pens come in two lengths, the short is used on most single pen instruments and the longer type is usually used when the instrument has two recording sections and the longer pen can overlap the shorter one. I am selling just one pen and I will send the short pen unless you ask me to send the long pen type. I also supply all colours of recording ink and all types of instrument recording charts.
