Another classic in Dunhill's portfolio, shape 60/1 is the quintessential English Billiard about a Group 3/4 in size. This one from 1946 carries the Patent No.417574/34 and made just one year after the end of WWII. A nice stout bowl it has a healthy chamber and is well proportioned with a short round shank while flat on the bottom making for an excellent setter. At only 27g it is super lightweight! The stem is vulcanite with crisp white spot but appears to be a replacement but is very w...ell done. Finish is classic Shell, deep with reddish accents while the craggy blast on this Algerian Briar is out of this world. If you notice in picture #2 & #5 a big section of the briar withstood the blast creating relief that is awesome. The rest shows stunning ring grain both vertical and horizontal and some deep birdseye as well. Overall in excellent condition this 74 year old Dunhill is ready for another lifetime of smoking.

Condition: Very Good. Chamber is clean and sound. Rim shows residual darkening with some wear. Nomenclature is legible but light in some areas. Stem is replacement but quite good. Weight: 27g
