For additional pictures Click on "Read More" This seldom seen - Art Metal Works - Gold Plated 2nd Version “Decanter” Ronson lighter is a very IMPRESSIVE pieceThis exceedingly rare AMW - Ronson table lighter is the 2nd version of the “Decanter” model. In his book: “The World’s Greatest Lighter”, Urban Cummings indicates that these models had 4 versions - please see figure 179. These early models had a “Simple Flared” rim on its top - please see the up-close picture. A...dditionally, this great piece is also the seldom seen “Gold” plated version, as opposed to the common “Silver” plated ones. This impressive lighter stands over 4 inches tall and has no dents or dings showing that is has never been dropped or mishandled. Its original owner: Irving, whose name was “Fancy Lettered” Jeweler engraved, used it seldom and took great care of it. The top is a little sticky and I put a new flint in it but could not get a spark. It needs some adjustment by someone more mechanical than I am.
