Signed Vintage Florida Highwaymen Painting James - J. Gibson Intercoastal Sunset

Up for sale is a stunning original oil on Masonite painting by listed highwaymen artist James Gibson (1938-2017). Mr. Gibson used heavy palette knife application with yellow orange and red to convey a warm evening stillness. Group of birds fly across the waterway adding light movement to the painting.
Overall dimensions of framed painting is 16"(h) x 13"(w). Frame width is 1.5". Painting is signed in lower right, J. Gibson.
Painting is in good condition. I don't see ...any damage to the oil painting. Some minor discoloration to the yellow to orange transitional area in the sunset, appears as blooms. This could be as painted, or from age. Frame has imperfections, most likely as made. As with all highwaymen paintings, you should expect to see imperfections, debris and other irregularities that are common because of the manner in which they were created, stored and sold. I do not see any damage to the painting itself. I have taken sectional photographs from right to left, please review and zoom each section. Ask all questions before buying.
