1984 Gibson Designer Series Flying V

This is one cagey beast. I tried to play "Wonderful Tonight" on it, and it punched me in the stomach, stole my girlfriend and gave my prize sniffin' hound Moon-hopper CV-19. Suffice to say, these original Dirty Finger pickups were meant for something a little more growley than soundtrack music for the Hallmark Chanel. Thrash metal, punk, grunge, and hard rock like Van Halen ( wont work for Van Hagar) are all things this guitar does well. But ... if you just had to have the kind of nigh...t where you crack open a couple of Zimas, put on an episode of " Third Rock From The Sun, " and mindlessly noodle your favorite Toto licks, this guitar will do that too. Just select the neck pickup, ease the volume off, and ... "All I wanna do when I wake up in the morning is see your eyes  ... Rosanna,  Rosanna." Take my advice though, if you love your significant other, and care about your sniffin' hound Moon-hopper, if the guitar ever asks what are doing up there,  and your doing something Tony Iommi wouldn't be proud of, you're better off tellin' it.. "Nothin' much ... just playin' 'Hanger 18' by Megadeth ... and you?"Condition is surprisingly, super, impressive. No cracks. No major scratches. Some dings here and there. Mostly, just wear consistent with a 36 year old guitar that has spent most of its life in its original case. Frets are 8.5/10. All Original. Yes, all original. There seems to be confusion in some circles about the tuners. I popped one to check, and THIS V came original from the factor with kluson tuners. There are no holes from prior tuners and the paint underneath is white, white as in: "no UV radiation from the sun has checked the paint under these tuners, because they have never, ever been off this guitar."
