Here is a stunning vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Doll in her tagged outfit # 2017. Cissy is from the year 1956 and she has the paler complexion of the earlier Cissy dolls. She wears her original short, curly brown bob and she has a beautiful expression on her face. Of course-she is Cissy! She is nicely strung and poses very well. She has a clean body with no stains, marks or odors. with the exception of some slight marks on her neck from her vintage rhinestone necklace. Her blue eyes ...open and close easily. A few lashes are missing on her left eye. Her pouty lips retain their lovely color. Cissy wears a simply wonderful ensemble that is featured on the front cover and on pages 78 and 182 of Kiley Ruwe Shaw’s book entitled “Cissy: Reference, Rarities, Restoration.” The dress is made of thick robin’s egg blue taffeta that is well-constructed with all seams and snaps intact. Her bolero jacket is made of black velvet that closes with a tie and is accented with a pink flower. Both items appear to be in excellent, unplayed with condition, and never laundered.Cissy wears her original pink can-can slip that has loosened elastic and the fabric was damaged on the back. She has lace panties, and replaced hosiery and black elastic high-heel shoes. Her outfit is completed with a lovely floral and net headpiece made by Richard Originals. Cissy has a vintage rhinestone necklace, new rhinestone ring and a gorgeous, hard-to-find vintage beaded handbag (no chain onDoll stand is not included.Cissy comes to you from a very clean home which is odor/free.
