Description: A fabulous Imperial Russian silver cigarette case, super heavy gauge, the lid and base panels with wonderful foliate and scrolling chased design with niello highlights, the interior with original fire gilding and retention straps. Shied shape cartouche and push button opener. Struck with the maker’s mark in Cyrillic, combined assay master and date mark, Moscow town mark and 84 zolotnic silver standard mark (875/1000).
