ANTIQUE POLISH "KARABELA" SWORD ~ OTTOMAN
TURKISH ~ SHAMSHIR ~ DAMASCUS BLADE
THE GRIP IS OF CARVED WOOD AND HAS SILVER WIRE BAND AND BRASS RIVET CAPS. THE CROSS GUARD IS OF STEEL. BLADE IS LONG AND CURVED WITH A FULLER, IT SHOWS SOME WATERED STEEL STRUCTURE. CONDITION IS FARE TO GOOD WITH AGE WEAR AND PATINA, BLADE AND HILT ARE TIGHT. LIKELY 1600s - 1700s.
