Period: George III c1765.
Dimensions: approx 310mm / 12 inches tall.
Hallmarks: unmarked.
Condition: Very good, considering age. Dings, dents and surface scratches to both sticks. Almost no copper bleeding through due to candlesticks being re-plated at some point. Light tarnishing and old wax that will clean/polish off. One of the nozzles is a later replacement (see photos) but is a remarkably close match. Wear commensurate with age and use. Please see photos and do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
Notes: Excellent early period Old Sheffield plate column candlesticks with gadroon and leaf patterns.
