Beautiful Art & Crafts H/M Sterling Silver Coffee/Chocolate Pot Ches 1922 314gThis is a stunning example of late Arts & Crafts design in the form of a duel-purpose pouring pot; it can be used for serving both coffee and hot chocolate. It is hallmarked Chester 1922 with maker’s initials of “A.E.J” in an oval stamp for Albert Edward Jones, Windmill Street; subsequently Livery Street, Birmingham; and St Dunstan Works, Pemberton Street, Birmingham.It has a conical form with a flare ...foot rim, pouring beak, hinge lid with timber ball finial and an applied angular “D” shaped timber handle. The surface has a hand-beaten appearance of forming hammer marks. It has a band of climbing roses just above the foot for a touch of decoration.It is in very good antique condition with no faults or damage to report. Some very light wear.
