1976 Gibson L6-S Body & Neck
This body and neck have the original natural finish and weighs 5 pounds 10 ounces. The body has some light scratches, small dings and scuffs, but nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage guitar. There are no cracks or other structural issues and no extra holes or routes.The nut is 1.56" wide and the neck is 0.80" thick at the 1st fret and 1.01" thick at the 12th fret. The neck is straight and the truss rod works. The frets show average wear, but it ...was in very good playing condition when still together and had no major issues. The fretboard has worn spots and the back of the neck is clean with no major dings. The headstock has small dings and general wear. The only major issue is the serial number on the back of the headstock has been scratched off. No cracks, repairs or extra holes and the finish and decal are original.This part was removed from a genuine American made Gibson L6-S. The guitar did not have a serial number, but all of the parts were original and the pots dated to July 1976.I may have more parts from this guitar up for sale, so please check my other listings.
