A top quality sterling silver cigarette or cigar box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1957 with the makers marks being HBros. It has a stylish late Art Deco design having angular feet and engine turned and banded detailing. It is in superbcondition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The lid fitsperfectly and the inside is nice and clean with just the odd light mark, the division can be adjusted or removed for large cigars. It measures 6.5 inches (16.5cms) wide across the l...id by 4.5 inches (11.5cms) front to back by 1.75 inches tall and weighs 642 grams (note this includes the wooden liner and most likely a base plate beneath). A superbly made very goodquality clean example.
