WWII Japanese Helmet - Vet Bring Back

Here is a Japanese Helmet that saw some use.  Vet bring back but I do not have any specifics on the vet as I acquired down the line. These things often come with stories and the story was the vet (some kid's Uncle) took out the liner because it was bloody . . . As the saying goes, "don't buy the story" but I thought I would pass along.  Anyway, the good news is that it still has the star on the front and the rings for the chinstrap. Decent dent in back which may have con...tributed to the demise of the original owner.  A decent example for display or if you do not want to spend hundreds on a nicer example.  Thanks for looking.
