estate find.. this wonderful 1960s bill curry orange tulip mushroom lamp..in terrific vintage condition and works perfectly..please check and zoom photos since they are my best description..has replaced light switch and light small crease in last photo..doesn't show since under shade..any questions feel free to email me..I will ship in 2 packages for safety..Handling cost includes insurance..This incredible table lamp by Bill Curry is an absolute gem from the 1960s mid-century modern e...ra. This one with its orange and white silhouette is stunning whether turned on or off. Enjoy it on a console, side table, or bookcase. It is in fine vintage condition and will make a perfect addition to your home. William Bill Billy Curry (1927-1971) graduated from the Los Angeles Art Center and began working at Ramo-Wooldridge Corporation, later TRW Inc., as Art Director. In 1962 he founded Design Line, Inc. a home furnishings company in El Segundo, California. His lights were deemed “best lamps of the year” by Industrial Design magazine, showcased at the Pasadena Art Museum, and selected by the U. S. Department of Commerce for display in several countries as examples of high quality American design, among other accolade before and after his death. The Los Angeles Times at one time called Curry “one of California’s leading designers”...
