Joanies is very excited to be offering a large four-day important family estate collection. This prominent family of Doctors resided in China between 1890-1960 and during this time acquired a vast array of rare and important objects that have never been offered until now. This includes a vast array of A...sian art examples, fine jades, snuff bottles, bronzes, porcelain, important Archaic works, and more.
A number of the items being offered were scheduled to be sent to New Yorks’s high end auctions, but due to large sale delays this year the estate had asked us to offer All the items. A great and rare opportunity to acquire some investment-grade examples.
Over the past 20 years Joanies has hosted Hundreds of estate auctions, auctioning upwards of a hundred thousand fine estate items during this time. Up for auction is an ANTIQUE 19TH CENTURY CHINESE BLUE WHITE IMMORTAL SCHOLAR LANDSCAPE PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE. A nice antique example with large scholar or immortal figural landscape decor.
Condition: Fine estate-fresh condition with no damage or repairs. All items inspected under UV light to ensure no hidden damage.
Size: The snuff bottle measures 2 5/8 inches tall by 7/8s of an inch wide. The snuff bottle including lid measures 2 3/4 inches tall.
