Presented for auction is this Superb Vintage Mexico Solid Sterling Silver Large Jug, hallmarked 925 Sterling Mexico.This superb vintage Mexican solid sterling silver large jug is a tall slim tapering shape with wide pouring lip, beautiful C scroll handle and is unpersonalised, superb quality item/craftsmanship. It is hallmarked to the base with Mexican silver hallmarks consisting of Made In Mexico, .925, the Makers mark R and Sterling denoting solid sterling silver, the hallmark is pa...rtly rubbed but perfectly readable, please see all the additional photos as they form part of the description. Measuring 7 1/2" high to the top of the spout by 3 1/4" handle to spout by 3 1/2" at its widest approx. it is in excellent used condition with no dents, dings, splits or repairs, just usual..... This superb vintage Mexican solid sterling silver large jug is a tall slim tapering shape with wide pouring lip, beautiful C scroll handle and is unpersonalised, superb quality item/craftsmanship. It is hallmarked to the base with Mexican silver hallmarks consisting of Made In Mexico, .925, the Makers mark R and Sterling denoting solid sterling silver, the hallmark is partly rubbed but perfectly readable, please see all the additional photos as they form part of the description. Measuring 7 1/2" high to the top of the spout by 3 1/4" handle to spout by 3 1/2" at its widest approx. it is in excellent used condition with no dents, dings, splits or repairs, just usual light wear consistent with age/use and weighs 307 grams or 9.87 troy ounces by my electronic scales.
