Antique full-sized German violin labeled inside Wilhelm Duerer fecit Eisleben anno 1905. Length of back = 14 inches. Amber-brown varnish, nicely figured wood on the matching back, ribs, and neck. The violin is in good vintage condition. There are no cracks or repairs. As with all old violins, there are some small nicks and dings (see the photos). There are a couple of deeper nicks on the upper left rib and upper left top (see photos 4 and 11). Pegs are original, with newer ebony tailpi...ece, Aubert bridge, and Helicore strings. Nice mature sound. There is no case, but the violin will be carefully and professionally packaged. Shipping includes full insurance.
