Presented here is a fabulous 1950's Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has tosca hair with a stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls, the hair is lovely with a nice sheen. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under la...shes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring, blue eyes. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She has pierced ears with double pearl drop earrings. She is wearing the original tagged outfit, the dress is made of navy taffeta with a cotton polka dot panel in the back and matching puff sleeves. The coat is reversible from navy blue to white with navy polka dots, it has gold buttons down the front on both sides, tagged on the back. The hat is matching, reversible with gold elastic chip strap. Underneath she wears a white taffeta slip with lace edge and white panties. the shoes are black strappy high heels. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition. There are a few faint shadows of yellowish or rust due to age on the sleeves of the dress and bonnet. This is a very lovely doll with great coloring and hair, the outfit is very rare to find. She is stunning!
